The Kern River Rock n Blues Fest is a music experience in Kernville, CA. The scenic Central California Mountains is the perfect setting for the music community to come together and play. This is the ultimate Rock n Blues vacation. With more than a dozen bands invited as well as dozens of sit-in artist the public is sure to see some of the best musicians on the west coast. All lodging, restaurants, camping and entertainment are all within leisurely walking distance.

Shawn Jones
Shawn Jones is an international touring Roots/Americana/Blues/Rock musician of over 30 years based in Southern California. Shawn tours with his band of “A level” touring/studio musicians as well as having a very dynamic solo show.
Shawn’s skills as a seasoned songwriter, guitarist and vocalist make him one of the most dynamic and relevant artists on today’s Americana/Roots/Blues/Rock music scene. Growing up in the heartland of Southern California, one of Shawn’s earliest recollections as a boy was playing guitars and harmonizing with his late father Danny Jones. That formidable experience led him to follow his dreams as a professional musician.

Matt Lomeo
At age 9 he a found a harmonica, and the Blues...
Matt subsequently became the youngest artist ever invited to perform at a Woodstock Festival, taking the stage for Woodstock '99 alongside his brother at the age of 10. Through his teen years and young adulthood, Lomeo never stopped performing, following his muse to New York City and later Memphis, TN, where he held court at Beale Street's World-Famous Club Handy.
In the spring of 2018 Matt relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where he hosts the Backline Jam at Ireland's 32 Pub, frequented by some of the top Americana musicians in Southern California.
Matt's truest voice has emerges through his songwriting.
Matt Lomeo and band represented the Santa Clarita Valley Blues Society in the International Blues Challenge 2023 in Memphis, TN, reaching semifinals.
MAIN STAGE
The Main Stage comes alive beginning Friday at 5:00pm, with 2 bands playing some of the best Classic Rock and Blues on the West Coast. The stage ends at 9:00pm each night just in time to hit the town and do the Kernville Pub Krawl.

Saturday opens at 10:15am with a salute to our Nations Veterans and the National Anthem. The rockin begins at 10:30 and goes non-stop with 7 bands till 9:00pm in time for the 2nd night of the Pub Krawl.

NEW for 2024 Tito's Blood Mary Showdown on Saturday morning. No better way to rejuvenate after a night of Pub Krawl. Think You make the BEST Blood Mary? Beginning 9:00am Sat. in the Pub Tent, we will supply the Tito's Vodka and supply your own style of mixing's. There will be prizes for Best Garnished, Best Spicy and Best Overall Flavor! Sign-up sheet will be in the Pub Tent at Kernville Saloon.
CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT

Cold Beer, Great Music and Cornhole, it doesnt get much better than that. Saturday Sarge's puts on an annual throwin of the bags to raise money for a great cause.
Sarge's is a non-profit organization who partners with Wreaths Across America to place Christmas Wreaths on the headstones of our fallen veterans.

KERNVILLE PUB KRAWL
Friday and Saturday Nights! No Ticket needed for the great after party Pub Krawl!
After the great music ends on the BUD LIGHT Main Stage in Frandy Campground, Kernville turns into a 4 Venue Pub Krawl with Live Music and parties in every corner of town. You will see some great Acoustic acts and Bands rockin each venue with lots of sit-in musicians making for a full town of Jam Sessions everywhere you KRAWL
