BRIAN JAMES and the REVIVAL

Nashville guitar slinger and frontman Brian James brings his brand of blues and soul revival to the stage every time he sets foot on it. The Nashville 2014 Blues Challenge Winner and 2015 NIMA Nomination (Best Performer) reawakens the real music inspired by the pioneers while authentically contributing to the future of roots music. As a fiery national touring act now residing in Oregon, Brian is now being Inducted to the Oregon Blues Hall of Fame 2025 along with bandmate Walter Herleman-Harp (aka Howlin' Dogma and frontman of The Devil Cat Motor Club) who is also being inducted.
Brian James and his band have played festivals and clubs, building a loyal following anywhere they go. The energy, emotion and feeling pours out of every step of that strut as he glides across the stage it's an interactive, infectious exchange, like a dance, with his audience. He’s just doing what he loves and when you are in the crowd, you feel it. This guy is real and … he’s real good.

Meet Boogie Shooz, the band guaranteed to leave your festival feet tapping and your soul thoroughly satisfied. Serving up a signature blend of rock and blues, these local legends aren’t just playing music—they’re rolling out a vibe that invites everyone to dance.
At the helm is Tracy Peoples, whose powerhouse vocals echo with the soulful grit of Lydia Pence, the electric spirit of Janis Joplin, the bluesy finesse of Susan Tedeschi, and the timeless fire of Etta James. If you like your singers with a side order of goosebumps, Tracy’s got you covered.
But every great front person needs a fierce lineup, and Boogie Shooz brings the heat with this incredibly talented group: local favorite Mike Fleming trades licks and harmonies on guitar and vocals, while Rodney Armstrong keeps the groove deep and steady on bass. Pat Mata lays down the rhythm that keeps the crowd moving, Joseph Stratemeier’s saxophone sizzles with every solo, and Chris Neufeld adds the keys to the kingdom—fresh off dropping his brand-new album.
